How Unique Coworking Space, The Process, Utlitizes MoonClerk’s Tiered Recurring Plan Options

Paul Shirley talks with us about his unique coworking space, The Process, and how MoonClerk’s flexibility with tiered recurring plan options has helped his business.

Can you tell us a little about what The Process

We're a co working space that's a little different because we host structured sessions and we offer tiered membership.

So people come in for sessions that are either an hour long or two hours long, and there's always some element of goal setting and accountability. And then they're paying by the number of hours that they will use each month.

What are your day -to -day responsibilities?

I am the founder of The Process but we're still pretty small. So that also means doing a lot of billing and protocol and hiring and making coffee, buying wine, etc. So basically everything. We got started because I ran a similar space in L .A. that was just for writers called Writers Blok. And then we realized it wasn't just writers who needed it. It was all creatives and freelancers and side hustlers. So, we started The Process.

What have been some key factors in your growth?

For us, a lot of our success comes down to doing things right and having people tell other people about us, which is not unique to our business.

We find that people often get this pretty big sense of relief after coming to us. They realize, “Oh, wow, finally. I am getting the stuff done that I've been putting off forever.” That might be the nagging details around something entrepreneurial or a creative project they've been putting off forever.

What do you use MoonClerk for?

We use MoonClerk for recurring subscriptions because we're really dependent on that recurring revenue. MoonClerk works well for us because it gives people the ability to move up and down among the various tiers that we offer.

What problems did you have before MoonClerk?

We have actually never really used a payment system before MoonClerk. I found MoonClerk way back in 2015 or 2016 when I was first starting Writer's Blok and needed a way to do recurring subscriptions simply. I've always enjoyed MoonClerk’s adaptability, especially around being able to create different options for tiered memberships.

Would you recommend MoonClerk to others?

We do. I have recommended MoonClerk to many people who are in similar straights as us, with those straights being that they need the flexibility of being able to offer different sorts of plans. MoonClerk has an advocate in us!
